John
Storm comes face to face with a giant prehistoric insect, in a
nightmare.
Jack
Mason is a specialist covert (Black Opps) operative for the CIA,
with fingers in DARPA
and good connections for making a fast buck using Interpol, where he is
part of the Blue
Shield network.
You
don't want to mess with Jack.
In
the past he has made a lot of money, invested in gold
and diamonds, so untraceable. Where he has to pass security checks. Many
of which are financial. He is given a lot of slack, where he is so
corruptible, and willing to break the law, in the interests of the
United States, which of course, gives him virtual immunity.
Jack
Mason has worked with John Storm on a number of his adventures, in
the case of Cleopatra,
he sailed a little too close to the wind, and had to be warned by John,
who then got the protection of the US President. But, only because HAL
and the CyberCore Genetica could hack NORAD. And Jack knew John was
enhanced, so a tough cookie, who he might as well stay on the good side
of.
Indeed,
Jack has a growing respect for Commander Storm.
In
the sequel to Sectasaur: The Swarm, Jack is torn again. He is secretly
instructed by DARPA, to look for an opportunity to steal or otherwise
get hold of any biological weapon, and the antidote, that communist China
and Russia
may try to use against his homeland.
